An event to see

I am mostly inclined to give this a good rating. The storyline is a classic that many people will be familiar with. There is even a hint of the broadway musical Wicked in this production with Glinda falling on the ditzier side and the witch appearing not as wicked as in the classic movie. While I love that they tried to incorporate this into the production, they tend to deviate from the true storyline of the movie. There are parts in the play that are either added or changed from the movie. These parts tend to make you scratch your head in wonder of what they were trying to accomplish. But, even with these little quirks, the production was overall a great one to see. I would recommend it to any family with or without kids.
